Stephen Lillie
British Embassy Manila



Stephen Lillie is the British Ambassador to the Philippines. Lillie was appointed as Her Majesty's Ambassador to the country in August 11, 2009. Before his current diplomatic post, he served as the director of trade and investment at the British High Commission in New Delhi, India from 2003 to 2006. Lillie graduated with a degree in Modern Languages from Oxford University in 1988. Back to top



David Chalmers
Australian National University



David Chalmers is a professor of philosophy at the Australian National University, and is the director of the Centre for Consciousness in the School of Philosophy of the same institution. Chalmers works on research areas such as the philosophy of mind, cognitive science, and artificial intelligence, to name a few. He is also a visiting professor at New York University. Back to top

De La Salle University-Manila



Napoleon Mabaquiao, Jr. is an associate professor of philosophy at De La Salle University-Manila. He is currently the chair and graduate program coordinator of the Department of Philosophy of the said university. Mette Kristine Hansen
University of Bergen



Mette Kristine Hansen teaches at the University of Bergen. Hansen is a former visiting student at the Australian National University, and she has presented a number of papers in several international summits including the annual AAP conference. She previously delivered a paper entitled "Is there a Cognitive Phenomenology?” at De La Salle University-Manila in 2009. Back to top



Catherine Pelachaud
Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique



Catherine Pelachaud is the current director of research at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in LTCI, Télécom ParisTech. Her research interests include embodied conversational agents, multi-modal interfaces, and representation language for agents, to name a few. Pelachaud participated in the elaboration of the first embodied conversation agent system, GestureJack. Arnulfo Azcarraga is the vice chancellor for research at De La Salle University-Manila. He has been a senior research fellow and program manager of the Program for Research into Intelligent Systems at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. Ang Ladlad Partylist



Raymond Alikpala is a nominee of Filipino LGBT political party Ang Ladlad Partylist for the upcoming Philippine senatorial elections in 2013. He is the author of the book "Of God and Men," which is his memoir as a gay Catholic Filipino coming out of the closet. Alikpala obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo Law School in 1992. Back to top

Kelly Trogdon is an assistant professor from the Department of Philosophy at Lingnan University. He specializes in metaphysics and the philosophy of mind, with competence in epistemology and the philosophy of language. At present, he focuses his research on grounding and fundamentality. Robin Zebrowski is an assistant professor of cognitive science at Beloit College. Aside from cognitive science, she also specializes in the philosophy of mind and philosophy of artificial intelligence, and has competence in applied ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, and American philosophy. Zebrowski obtained her doctorate degree in philosophy at the University of Oregon. Back to top
